Hey God,
Never let me forget that I can still make an impact where I am today. I always look to the future because I think the future is when I will be happy. And that I will be happy because it is then, that I can finally make a difference. Even though I feel it in my bones that you have great plans for me one day, never let me forget that you also have great plans for me today, here and now. I am not promised a future, so do not let me waste the present. I can still make an immense impact right where I am at- the very fact that I am in this exact place is not a mere consequence, it is all according to your plan. Everywhere there are people that You have placed in my life that I can speak into now, after all, how much more great are the people of my future than the people of my present? Let me not waste or belittle the privilege that I have been given. God I pray that you use me and never let me forget the impact that I can have today.
Never let me forget that while my eyes are on the future, while my soul is in your hands, and while my heart is open for your people, that my feet are still on the ground.
